Spring 2020 Internships

Humanities students at FIU are invited to apply for eight new internships that The Humanities Edge will sponsor in the Spring 2020 term.

The internships will run from January 13 to March 30, 2020. Interns would work 20 hours a week at a rate of $16 an hour. Payments will be made through monthly stipends and are contingent on interns preparing a short report on the experience. Please note: If you are receiving Federal Financial Aid, which includes scholarships, grants, or loans, your award may be affected. 

Only students majoring in a Humanities discipline are eligible. These majors include: African-American Studies, Art History & Appreciation, Dramatic Arts, English, French, Geography, History, International/Global Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Latin American Studies, Linguistics, Music, Philosophy, Political Science & Government, Portuguese, Religious Studies, Sociology, Spanish, Studio/Fine Art, Visual Art, and Women's Studies.

Application deadline is November 18, 2019. Internship start day is January 13, 2020.
