What is H.E.ART?
“H.E.ART”—for history, English, and art—is a weeklong summer program designed for students like you who have recently transferred or will soon transfer from Miami Dade College (MDC) to Florida International University (FIU) to continue your studies in the humanities. Together we will explore why the humanities matter; strengthen critical thinking, research, and creative skills; and consider how humanities studies can lead to fulfilling academic and career opportunities.
