Bio

Jephery G. Francis is the Office Specialist for “The Humanities Edge: An MDC-FIU Pathway Partnership” at Miami Dade College. Mr. Francis’ role as an Office Specialist is providing a broad range of office, administrative, and bookkeeping duties associated with the proper operation and smooth function of the grant. Mr. Francis also works with faculty and staff to coordinate schedules, payment of suppliers, contract agreements, and overall event activity organization. He is also currently a graduate student in the Master of Public Administration program at Florida International University. He has undergraduate degrees and has gained his knowledge, skills and abilities from FIU’s Bachelor of Public Administration program and Florida State University’s Bachelor of Science in Management program. Mr. Francis’ community and organizational involvement include Catalyst Miami, Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration at FIU, The International City/County Management Association, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Mr. Francis has a passion for education and public service and wants to help students and the humanities community continue to progress.
