Internships and Fellowships FIU Students

Apply now for an internship during the Spring 2020 term. Application deadline is November 18, 2019. These positions are open to all FIU students majoring in a humanities discipline. In order to be considered, students must be registered for at least one credit during the Spring 2020 Semester at FIU. Payments will be made through stipend at the end of the internship and are contingent on your preparing a short report on the experience. Please note for all internships: Payments will be made through monthly stipends and are contingent on your preparing a short report on the experience. If you are receiving Federal Financial Aid, which includes scholarships, grants, or loans, your award may be affected.

Internships and Fellowships MDC Students

If you’re ready to gain hands-on work experience in the humanities consider applying to your first and second choice of the following paid internships. If you’re interested in working at prominent museums such as Miami Beach-based FIU Wolfsonian, Miami Design Preservation League, or MDC Wolfson-based MOAD, please explore the job postings. Thanks to a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, The Humanities Edge is offering several paid internships and fellowships designed for MDC students majoring in the humanities. Begin work after the start of Spring 2020 semester. Internships run up to 10 weeks and work is capped at no more than 10-20 hours/week at $16 an hour. Payments will be made through monthly stipends.
