What is H.E.ART?
“H.E.ART”—for history, English, and art—is an on campus program designed for students interested in studies in the humanities at FIU. Explore why the humanities matter, strengthen critical thinking, research, and creative skills, and consider how humanities studies can lead to fulfilling careers.

Join us on March 11, April 1, or April 15, from 12:00 pm–1:00 pm
Learn about FIU's 3-day, on campus, academic and career program for MDC students who are close to graduating and preparing to transfer to FIU in the following majors:
- History (including Digital Humanities and Public History)
- English (including Literature, Writing & Rhetoric, Creative Writing and Linguistics)
- Art (including Studio Art, Digital Arts, and Art History)
Students interested in Philosophy, Communications, Journalism, Modern Languages, and Performing Arts may also apply.
Financial award is available to attend H.E.ART!
