Christopher Caballero serves as the Office Specialist for the Humanities Edge program at Miami Dade College. He earned a bachelors degree in Leadership Accounting from Miami Dade College. Christopher’s journey with grant-funded programs began with his internship on a STEM grant, where he supported a variety of initiatives. With the advent of new technologies, Christopher is committed to promoting the value and relevance of the humanities across disciplines recognizing their essential role in fostering critical thinking and meaningful human connection. Before joining the Humanities Edge, Christopher spent several years in the high-end hospitality industry where he cultivated a professional and building long-lasting relationships
Beyond his wok in higher education, Christopher is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is currently working toward earning his Certified Fraud Examiner credential. Christopher is particularly interested in the intersection of humanities and fraud examination, and exploring how ethics, human behavior, and communication influence financial misconduct, as well as how these same factors can help prevent it.
